Day 1 - Road Trip to Calgary

Kasey and I took off this morning at 11 am driving through Missouri and Kansas on I-70.

We took a detour at Manhattan, KS for lunch.630 miles and 10 hours later we have spotted 35 different state lisence plates!  

We checked into our hotel in Colby, KS right at sunset. The colors in the sky looked really neat.

It's nice to be out of the car for awhile. Tomorrow we head to Boulder, CO. Looking forward to seeing mountains soon!

So the adventure begins. Kasey and Theresa have hit the road. Theresa was the driving force behind getting things packed and organized. After we saw how much we had deciding NOT to use the Prius was probably a good thing. They are on the way to Kansas. They will be taking over the blog for a spell even though it is based off of Vince's account.
